Cash For Keys Home Scam

The Cash for Keys program began as an incentive to homeowners going through foreclosure; however, not all banks offer this program. The program pays the homeowner to vacate by a certain date and to leave the home without vandalizing it.

As usual, criminals found away to take advantage of this incentive. They move into the homes illegally, often in high-end neighborhoods, and live rent free for months. Banks must know these squatters are there, but it is not easy to get them out.

Taking the squatters to court would cost the banks money in time spent in court, time spent preparing for court and attorney fees. So what are the banks doing about this?  Banks are paying these criminals to move out of the houses.  Banks pay these criminals so they won't damage the house and steel copper wire and appliances.



The mortgage lenders, like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Bank of America, have had enough...they are now arresting and charging these criminals.  These criminals may think they are smart in taking advantage of banks, but they are not smart enough to keep from getting caught.  Check out the link below.

Dumb People Doing Dumb Things

It seems criminals get dumber and dumber each day. Most are probably on some mind altering drug, including alcohol, but they're still funny.

Criminals Dressed for Halloween

It's Friday again and time for (drum roll)....Dumb Criminals!  Halloween will be here soon and these criminals are dressed for the occasion.

Adam Ballingall arrested Halloween 2008 wearing a prisioner costume. He was arrested for allegedly smoking marijuana behind a bar.

(Well, he chose an appropriate costume)

Fares Baroudi arrested two days before Halloween in 2007 dressed in "Department of Mental Health" costume for driving under the influence.

(Maybe, he has the right idea and really should be committed.)

Jesse Thornhill tried to run over landlord with a minivan. He was charged for assault with a deadly weapon.

(Wow...horns...really, you devil, you!)

Michael Eugene Campbell initially arrested in 1995 for sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl. Campbell has been arrested several times since. Recently arrested for going within 500 feet of a playground or pool.

(There is no mistaking this guy...thanks, dude. Next time he is sneaking around, it won't be difficult to identify him.)

Michelle Allen arrested for chasing children, urinating on porches, and blocking traffic. She was charged with disorderly conduct.

Raymond Adamcik dressed as Captain American allegedly pulled a burrito out of his tights, and groped a woman at a costume party in 2007. At the police station, he allegedly tried to flush marijuana down the toilet. Charged with disorderly conduct, resisting an officer without violence and felony destruction of evidence. Get this...he is a family physician by day.

Spencer Taylor arrested in 2008 after he saw "The Dark Knight". He allegedly tried to steal poster and memorabilia related to the movie. Charged with felony larceny and malicious destruction.

There is nothing funnier than dumb criminals. For the next few weeks, Friday posts will be about this genius group. Today's edition is about dumb criminals who apparently need a class on how to get and maintain an adult relationship.

Rodney Kunkel stocked the shelves at Wal-mart with obscene pictures of himself.

Juan Aguirre allegedly broke into an adult entertainment shop and stole six empty DVD boxes.

Justin Dale Little Jim charged with allegedly breaking into a sex shop. He was caught in "relations" with a sex doll.

Bernadette Bassario Catan-Keeler arrested for allegedly attacking and biting her husband on their wedding night.

Toni Jo Silvey arrested for allegedly for calling her ex-boyfriend 1,000 times and sending over 700 emails in a three-month period, and breaking his windows with a sword.

Natalie Behnke charged for allegedly entering the Baby Doll Lounge(not an employee), taking her clothes off and asking for money.

Edwin Tobergta arrested for allegedly having sex with his neighbor's inflatable pool raft.
