Larry Clement, 57, of Temperance, Michigan worked at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home where he was a non-licensed part-time employee. That is, until he was arrested last week for abusing a corpse.
On March 4, another employee caught Clement in the act of touching the genitals of female dead body. He was fired from the funeral home.
A representative for the funeral home said they wanted to alert the family before they contacted police. But the family said the funeral home offered them the $11,000 funeral for free if they would keep quiet and not contact police. The victim's brother said they refused the offer.
It's possible Clement took the job at the funeral home because he is a necrophiliac. What ever the reason he abused the deceased, it was a reason based in mental illness. He should be charged and jailed; hopefully, in a place where he can get some help.
You probably never thought worrying about a relative being abused, after death, would be an issue. But we forget there are many mentally sick people walking the streets and working next to us every day. It's sad, they don't get the help they need, and others are just closet freaks.
Peace

Millionaire Receives Food Stamps
A Michigan woman, Amanda Clayton, won $1 million dollars in the lottery in September and she continues to receive $200 in food stamps each month.
Unbelievable...and her excuse is that she is struggling. She says she has two houses, she doesn't have a job and she has bills to pay...WHAT!? She claims she received "just a little over half"...that's over $500,000!
Even more strange is that she isn't breaking the law by continuing to receive food stamps. Just yesterday, the State finally stopped her food stamps. A Michigan lawmaker said that the news "of a lump sum lottery winner using food stamps should inspire his colleagues to finally pass a law to end such abuse."
"Lawmakers vowed to require more communication between the lottery and the welfare agency, but legislation still is pending. Republican Rep. Dave Agema says an "entitlement attitude" must end."
The lottery has been around for a while and it's odd that the State didn't have laws in place to cover welfare recipients who win the lottery. This is not the first time this situation has occurred. Leroy Fick won $2 million dollars in the lottery in the spring of 2010 and he also continued to use his food stamp card.
The state depends on the recipients to notify them if they win the lottery. Umm...and how's that working for them. If other recipients who win big in the lottery are like these two, the State can forget about self-reporting.
One of the problems with people in this country today is some people have a sense of entitlement. "I should get....", "I deserve...". Just because it's available doesn't mean you need, should get, or deserve assistance. To continue receiving food stamps after winning millions is unethical. I doubt either of them know what the word means.

Crazy School Sign
Take a look at the school sign to the left. Are they serious...really?
Greg Smith is pictured next to the sign in White Lake Township, Michigan. He complained about this school sign to the township. He said cars almost come to a stop to read it!
The sign lists six different, odd times during the day that the speed limit is 25 MPH!
The town has an elementary, middle and high school all in the same area which they say is the reason for the sign.
Police Chief Ed Harris plans to call a meeting with the White Lake Township Supervisor, the Huron Valley School District and the Road Commission in Oakland County to discuss the sign. Chief Harris says the township did not put the sign up, but they are working to resolve the issue.
This sign is impossible to read while driving. You can't read that much information in the time it takes to pass the sign. It's also a driving hazard and a speed trap. Umm...I wonder how many tickets police wrote in the area last year?
Everyone knows that schools change start and release times occasionally. So what happens when the schools begin late or release early? Do they have someone stand by this sign, holding another sign? Or do they use a traffic cop?
No one is taking responsibility for installing the sign. I can't blame them because it is one of the craziest school signs I've seen.
White Lake Township, here are three options that make much more sense:
1. Change the sign to read 6:49 to 4:29 25 MPH on school days
2. Install a flashing light that is in sync with the six different times
3. Change the speed limit to 25 MPH all day Monday through Friday
Whoever installed the sign should have known these times could potentially cause traffic problems. If the township didn't install the sign, then it seems the township or the county could remove it.
No, that's too easy, they must first have a meeting to decide what to do about the sign. Let's hope they take one of my suggestions.

Elderly Woman, Younger Man Having Sex in Car
This man and woman met in a bar and I guess the more they drank the better they looked to each other. So they left the bar and decided to have sex in her car in the parking lot...in broad daylight!
From the Smoking Gun:
OCTOBER 5--A naked 71-year-old woman and her equally clothes-free male companion, 54, were arrested last month for indecent exposure after a Michigan cop found them trysting in the back seat of a Buick Regal that was rocking gently and had its windows steamed over, according to a police report.
When the officer opened the vehicle’s rear door and asked the nude couple what they were doing, Tim Adams offered a concise answer. “I’m fucking this chick,” he said.
Yes, Adams referred to his septuagenarian consort, Rita Daniels, as a “chick.”
According to a City of Farmington Police report, Daniels’s 2002 Buick (license plate: DIVA 145) was in a shopping center parking lot, adjacent to a restaurant whose customers, including a 10-year-old-boy, apparently had a view of the illicit nighttime action on September 3.
Officer Andrew Morche noted that the car’s windows “were covered with heavy condensation,” and that Daniels was atop Adams “and the two were engaged in sexual activities.” The pair was parked in a spot outside the restaurants Luigi’s and Tre Sorelle (which can be seen in this Google Street View image).
A police investigation determined that the couple’s courtship was a brief one. They had met for drinks at a nearby bar “before moving to the back seat of the Buick.” When questioned by cops, neither Daniels nor Adams--both of whom were unsteady and smelled of booze--knew the other’s name. A Breathalyzer test recorded Daniels’s blood alcohol content as .15, nearly twice the state limit.
Daniels and Adams were busted for indecent exposure and disorderly intoxication and booked into the local jail, where they were held until sobriety returned. While in custody, cops noted, “Adams decided to strip to his underwear.”
Misdemeanor charges against Daniels and Adams, who are pictured in the above mug shots (click to enlarge), are pending in Michigan 's 48th District Court. (2 pages)

The car was rocking, windows steamed up and someone called the police, fortunately.
Why?!? They are both old enough to know better, but I guess alcohol was in control. Guess it was worth it as she looks quite happy in her mug shot.
