Kids Rock!

It's Wednesday...hump day.  It's raining and dreary so I hope these videos of cute kids brighten your day.

The dad in this video must be a drummer. Watch as he "rocks out" the beats with this cute infant.

You've heard of a three-legged race, but can you imagine a
31-legged race?  You might think someone would get hurt, but not
these kids...they are amazing!

This cute kid tries to convince his mom to give him another
doughnut...he claims he hasn't had one.

This little ballerina is so frustrated...she just can't seem to
get it right.

I know you...at the very least...smiled...and that's a good thing.  Kids rock!!

Waiting for the sunshine,

Peace

Interviews You Must See

If I haven't said it before, I absolutely adore children. Babies and toddlers are the most innocent, honest and pure beings. There is nothing more precious than their toothless smiles, nonsensical babble and unsteady gait. How can you help but love them and protect them no matter who gave birth to them?

The cutest one year old is on YouTube being interviewed by his dad. His name is Jose Luis:

I wonder what mom has to say about Tuesdays and Thursdays, and hitting the turtle on Fridays...shame on her...LOL. His dad is so creative and he has a great sense of humor. Here is the interview with Jose Luis when he was two years old:

These videos are hilarious. The first interview is my favorite...great job dad. If you want to see more, they have other videos on YouTube.

Enjoy your weekend and hug a child.

Peace

Straight from the Source

OMG...I recently read and saw the video about the toddler in Cambodia who gets his milk directly from the source...a cow's teat!

The story in the news is that the parents left the child with the grandfather while they went elsewhere looking for work.  The grandfather claims the toddler saw the calves suckling the cow and then imitated them.  According to the grandfather, he cannot stop the child...he cries if he removes him.  But, it appears he is assisting the toddler in this behavior.  Grandfather says the cow's milk is the child's major source of nourishment.

This child may get all kinds of germs and infections from this behavior.  And at 18 months old, cow's milk should not be the major source of sustenance.  It makes me sick to watch this video!  I know Cambodia is a totally different culture from ours, but I just can't imagine that this is acceptable.

I understand the parents' need for work so I don't want to judge too harshly.  I'm sure there are behaviors we have that people in Cambodia would think strange (even we think some of them strange).  The grandfather is probably not the best person to raise this child; however, he is possibly the only person available.

I wish I could adopt all the suffering and/or mistreated children of the world and keep them safe.

What are your thoughts on this video?

With a heavy heart,

Peace
