Drunk Woman Leaves Sleeping Baby in Car

Last week, in the early morning, a woman staggered into a tattoo shop in Houston to get a piercing. She wore bedroom slippers, appeared to be drunk....and she was pregnant.

Stephanie Irene Santana, 20, asked how long it would take to get a piercing. Yogi, the tattoo artist responded, "Why would you ask me how long it would take because there is nobody in here?"  "And she said, 'Because I have a baby in the car.' That's when I asked her who's watching the baby. She said nobody, the baby is asleep."

Yogi said he asked her to leave and called the police. When police arrived, they found Santana drumped (drunk and slumped...my creation) over the steering wheel.

According to police, Santana had her 10 month-old in the passenger seat unrestrained, she is seven months pregnant, had Xanax and beer bottles in the car and she was drunk!  Great mom.

Of course, she was handcuffed and arrested; Child Protective Services took the child which is truly a blessing.




Did you notice the sign at Dago's Tattoo Parlor ( at 00:13)? Women get free tattoos and piercings...really? Sounds like a real classy place.

Santana is facing charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment.

Rather than seeking a body piercing, Santana should find a good seamstress...and sew it up!
