Nude Man in Walmart and Nude Man Climbs Tower

Again, I say what's up with naked criminals.  Just a few days ago, I posted about some other nude criminals...read about it here. Why do they feel the need to undress before committing stupid acts?

At around 5:30 pm on February 15, Verdon Lamont Taylor went to Walmart, stripped in the parking lot and walked nude into the store. He went to Customer Service and picked up a pair of socks and put them on. Then he decided to walk around in the store with nothing on except the socks he stole.

Taylor is 6'4" tall and weighs approximately 300 pounds, but one dedicated employee followed him around with a coat.  Either she didn't offer it or he refused it because he was still walking around naked when cops arrived.

The Walmart shoppers were avoiding him and trying not to look, but not real hard. When police arrived, Taylor refused to follow orders and they used a Taser on him before taking him into custody.  After police arrested him, he spit in the face of one officer.

Authorities charged Taylor with indecent exposure (an understatement), aggravated assault, simple assault, retail theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct. Taylor is in the Chester County Prison and cash bail is set at $50,000.
*************************

In early February, a man climbed the Radio Tower in Los Angeles, taking his clothes off as he climbed.

At some point, he asked for hamburgers from McDonalds and agreed to come down after he ate his meal.

Authorities were able to get him down around 9:00 PM when Police and the Fire Department brought him down in a basket.

The man is a 45 year-old Arizona resident, but police are not disclosing his name.

Police suspect he may have planned to jump, but why he climbed the tower is anyone's guess....maybe he was trying to get good cell phone reception.

If he is mentally ill, he certainly needs help, but if he was just high on drugs, he should be made to pay for all the expense he caused.

Note:  This video has no audio.

Glad authorities were able to get him down.  He had a Mac attack and...with all the free advertising, McDonald's is 'loving it'.

NOTE: I actually made two blog posts yesterday (that's strange in itself) so if you only read the one about President's Day, check the second post out here...crazy.

Peace
