Saturday, Jose Ayala, 32, went to Del Paso Heights welding shop looking for work; he said he was good with his hands. He didn't make a very good first impression, though; he was way too casual for a job interview...he was completely naked.
Shop owner, Chris Johnson, ran Ayala outside where he walked around and talked to the clouds. Johnson called police, but Ayala didn't want to go quietly.
He became combative and police wrestled him to the ground. He grabbed hold of the female officer's hair and wouldn't let go. That's when shop employees helped detain him until backup arrived. Police were finally able to take him into custody.
Wrestling with a naked person must be difficult...like a slippery fish, there isn't much to hold on to.
In his nakedness, you would think Ayala had nothing to hide. But he did...Ayala is an illegal immigrant and he is currently in jail on an immigration hold. RukRo...can you say deportation.
Also, Police suggested everyone involved in the video get an HIV test. There must have been some blood during the scuffle. Too bad for the shop employees. I hope, for their sake, Ayala doesn't have HIV.
Police believe Ayala was high on methamphetamine. I am a firm believer that all the naked criminals in the news recently were high on methamphetamine. It causes a lack of impulse control and apparently makes you want to be free so I guess that's why the clothes come off.
The job market is so tight now, maybe Ayala was trying to set himself apart from other applicants. If so, he accomplished that and more.
