Man Places Craigslist Ad for Sex With Young Girls

So this piece-of-scum pedophile from Illinois was sitting around one day trying to figure out how to get access to young girls when he had a light bulb moment...it must have been a 10 watt.

Brandon J. Bergthold thought it would be a great idea to place an ad on Craigslist.  In the ad, he is seeking "fathers willing to share their daughters".  An undercover officer, with the Cook County Sheriff's Child Exploitation Unit, responded to his ad pretending to be the father of a 6 year-old-girl.

Although Investigators discovered and answered the Craigslist ad November 30, 2011, they didn't arrest him until last week.  Officers say his demeanor changed and he sounded desperate to meet the non-existent father and daughter. Police were afraid he might seek out someone else if they didn't end the investigation. 

So they agreed to a meeting and Bergthold drove to the meeting place as arranged. In addition to the 6 year-old girl,  he also hoped to have sex with her 11 year-old cousin.

I'm sure he was surprised to see the police and disappointed that he didn't get time with the non-existent girls.  He told police he was addicted to child porn and thanked them for arresting him. (yeah, right)

He's a guest of Will County jail with bail set at $750,000.  They charged him with two counts of indecent solicitation of a child and two felony counts of traveling to meet a minor.  He wasn't charged with child pornography then, but I'm sure he will be after police check his home and computer.

Isn't it wonderful some pedophiles are so stupid!
