Most young women dream of their wedding day, but in this economy, large expensive weddings are just not practical. One couple found a way to have a wedding and pay for it as well.
Their bright idea was to steal copper wire from utility poles and re-sell it.
They couldn't afford the wedding they planned so they decided to make the citizens of Pennsylvania pay for their wedding.
They already have a child, he lost his job and they decide to spend money on a formal wedding. Well, it appears the joke is on them.
Wait for it...wait for it...they netted only $18.00 for the copper wire! They weren't very smart since the copper wire was valued at over $7,000. Now, they must pay $400.00 to repair the damage they did to the utility poles...can you say KARMA.
What is wrong with going to the justice of the peace or having a small, simple wedding they could afford? The money they were spending on the wedding would be better spent preparing for their life together.
The problem is people believe they are entitled to certain things whether they can afford them or not. Let's see...I want a new car which I can't afford, so I will see how stealing one goes...NOT. SMH
