In these tough times, it is essential to be in touch with the funniness, the absurdity, the ridiculousness and irony of everyday existence. Having a good sense of humor helps us to have a perspective on situations that are overwhelming. If we can really laugh, we are winners in any situation because laughter is an indication of perspective and control.
Abraham Lincoln understood the value of humor. He said, "With the fearful strain that is on me night and day, if I did not laugh I should die."
Political humor is always the greatest (it's the only way I can stay sane when watching the drama with politicians) and bad lip-reading is not new, but these videos are the funniest.
Rick Perry:
President Barack Obama:
I laugh at something or someone (including myself) each day. Humor is truly healthy for the soul. So, come on people, laugh until you cry each day and I promise you will feel happier.
