There's an App for That

Are you concerned about your teens texting and talking on the cell phone while driving?  Well, you are not alone. Troy Orner of Littleton, Colorado is the father of 8 year-old triplets. He is so concerned about his children driving, in 8 years, that he came up with a great idea.

He began developing the idea two years ago. Now, there is an app for that...it's called "Life Before Text" and you can own it for a one time fee of less than $4.

The "Life Before Text" app automatically turns off the cell phone as long as the user drives above a set speed limit. The user is unable to send text messages, place phone calls, surf the internet or check email. However, the user is able to call 911 emergency.

I know what you're thinking...kids will just turn it off.  Not so fast, if the user deletes or disables the app, an automatic email goes to the parents.

The "Life Before Text" app has just hit the market, but sorry iPhone users, this app cannot be downloaded to your phone.

For more information on the "Life Before Text" app, the website is: http://lifebeforetext.com/

Orner's $20,000 was well spent.  Parents will absolutely love this app and teens will be forced to comply or lose driving and/or phone privileges. Sorry kids, but you will have to park to surf, text and chat.

I love it!
