Baby Face

Jose Sanders, 22, went into a Kroger grocery store to buy a six pack of beer. The clerk was suspicious of his identification and called over another employee for assistance. The clerks refused to sell Jose a six pack, believing his license was a fake.

Store employees say Jose got angry, began cursing and refused to leave the store. An employee called police and Jose was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was in jail for forty-eight hours.

Jose does have a baby face, and a small stature, due to issues with his pituitary gland. The clerks believed he was underage and were justified in refusing him beer.  However, in many states, it is not difficult to determine if a license is valid. A valid license has watermarks and lazer printing that makes it difficult to duplicate.

It is understandable why Jose is upset...this happens to him all the time.  That day he had enough and he just let loose on the store employees.  It is frustrating and embarrassing for him to experience the same problem over and over again. However, cursing and being stubborn is not the correct way to handle the situation.

As Seen On TV Police say he should have just gone to another store, but would that have really made a difference?

Maybe, getting arrested is a blessing in disguise for Jose -- it solves his problem with buying beer.

Now everyone in town knows who he is and that he is of legal age even if he does look like a teenager.

We won't mention that his license shows he is an organ doner and he drinks often.  He said it himself -- happens to him all the time.
