Short on Brains

A Police Officer in New Hampshire was surprised when Barry Short, 22, drove by the police car on New Year's morning.

The officer says as the car drove slowly by at 1:40 a.m., he heard a noise.  That's when he noticed there was no tire on the back driver's side...not flat, but no tire. Short was driving on the rim.

Officer Jason Mazza stopped Short and he could smell a strong odor coming from the car...you guessed it...alcohol...and Short seemed disoriented. He thought he was in Methuen, Mass. "He told the officer he couldn't find a jack to change his tire, but couldn't explain why there was no tire on the car."

What??!! I imagine he drove it off!  He could have driven for miles after the tire was flattened...he doesn't know...he didn't even know where he was.

Short didn't do well on the field sobriety test and was arrested for drunk driving. But wait, the officer searched his car before it was towed and found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. So now he is charged with drug possession and aggravated DUI.

The New Year didn't start so well for Short and I'm sure he wishes he had changed that flat tire.

Peace
