Although I enjoy writing this blog, sometimes the stories I find are beyond shocking. This is another strange story that just makes me sick! A 37-year-old "man" rapes his mother!!! WTH???
"Man" is in quotations because he is definitely not a real man!
Maybe he is addicted to drugs, which is not an excuse, but maybe an explanation. Or he could have some mental problems, but there is no mention of any health problems. I am trying to find an answer to why he would do this because no one in his right mind could rape his own mother.
If he has mental issues, placement in a mental institution to serve his time is appropriate. If he doesn't have a mental illness, he should get life in prison. He will surely get what he deserves in prison. Either way, he gets what he deserves.
It is unfortunate that his face isn't shown or his name given, but it is to protect the victim, his mother. If I were his mother, all the love I had for him would be gone and I certainly wouldn't have a problem putting him in jail for the rest of his life.
My heart goes out to this woman. She will probably never the same again. She will most definitely need long-term counseling and I hope she can regain some resemblance of the life she had before this violent act.
