Help, I'm Stuck and I Can't Get Free!

This week, two California men are in the news for getting stuck (separately) in weird places. Their names haven't been released (I wonder why...lol).

A 21-year-old Vallejo, CA man spent the night at Blue Rock Springs Park stuck in a swing made for a baby (similar to the one pictured). It's reported that at about 9 p.m., on October 21, 2011, he was hanging out with his friends when they bet him $100 that he couldn't get into the swing.  So, he lubricated his legs with laundry detergent (where did he get laundry detergent?) and was able to get into the swing.  But, when he discovered he could not get out, his "friends" left him there where he was trapped for nine hours. A groundskeeper heard him screaming around 6:00 a.m. on Saturday and contacted authorities.  Firefighters used a cast cutter to free his legs from the seat and he was transported to an area hospital, suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

In Laguna Hills, CA, a man was found stuck in a hollow yesterday. Deputies followed his screams down a creek bed and located him up to his chest in the hollow tree.

It took firefighters ninety minutes to rescue him, but they have no clue why he was in the hollow tree which went down 4-5 feet underground. I would hide my face, too.

Because of these men getting into these silly situations, the cities' valuable time and resources were wasted. Authorities should require each man to pay the cost of rescue in full. If they pay for stupidity, maybe they will think twice before doing something so silly in the future.

At least, the 21-year-old accepted a bet; stupid, but understandable. He really needs some new friends. The man stuck in the tree is obviously older and should know better. Maybe, it's a "man" thing; however, neither of them had trouble screaming like girls once they were stuck.

SMH...You really couldn't make this stuff up...lol.

Peace
