Lynn Cameron, 19, who has the mental capacity of a 2 year-old, was left at The Big Orange Bar with no money, no clothes and no identification. She couldn't tell police her name or address due to her limited vocabulary.

Police circulated her picture in an attempt to identify her. An Illinois bus driver contacted police in Tennessee on Monday. He recognized Lynn as one of the students he shuttled to a school for children with development disabilities.
Police contacted Eva Cameron about Lynn and Cameron returned to Caryville Tuesday "to acknowledge abandoning her daughter".
Eva Cameron told Police Chief Johnny Jones she didn't want Lynn and said do with her whatever they wanted. She told Jones' assistant, "if the state of Tennessee doesn't want her, she'll be Kentucky's problem".

At a hearing on Tuesday, it was determined that no criminal charges are applicable because Lynn is an adult. The mother is no longer responsible for her and, legally, is not her guardian any longer.
After court, Lynn was placed in the custody of the state of Tennessee. Eva Cameron left Tennessee, without Lynn, for the second time and drove back to Chicago.
Apparently, Cameron grew tired of taking care of Lynn so she just dropped her off miles away from home, unprotected. Witnesses at the bar said it looked as if Lynn was pushed through the door.
Cameron told police, initially, she stopped at the bar so Lynn could use the restroom. However, security cameras show Lynn used the restroom in a nearby Waffle House.
Cameron later said that her church suggested she take Lynn to Caryville "because it had a large concentration of Baptists". She also said Tennessee "has the No.1 health care system in the United States of America", claiming she wanted the best care for Lynn. She said all the attention to this story was "just a big hoopla out of nothing".
Cameron claims to have other children at home, including another developmentally disabled child. Taking care of one disabled child is difficult and two must be overwhelming. But you don't just throw away your child because you are overwhelmed with taking care of her.
If Cameron wanted the best for Lynn wouldn't that be a facility in her city were Lynn could maintain contact with her family? Her first statements are probably the way she feels; the state of Tennessee can do with Lynn whatever they wish.
The story about Lynn losing her ID is probably another lie...she apparently doesn't want any contact with Lynn. Too bad Cameron can't be charged with a crime in Tennessee, but hopefully, Chicago can find a suitable charge.
Only a heartless person could do this to a child, and she is a child, no matter her size and chronological age.
Peace
