Dumb Criminals: Car Crash, Unlawful Entry and Theft

Around 5:15 p.m. last Thursday, police were called about a car crash at Locust Shade Park in Prince William County in Virginia.

Prior to the car crash, Crisdel Valeriano Bell, 34 and and a male acquaintance from Fredricksburg, Virginia got into an argument.

The argument escalated so a 34 year-old man from Stafford, who was with them at the park, tried to stop the argument.

He got between Bell and the Fredricksburg man and then Bell hit the Stafford man with a stick.

The two men got into their car to leave. Bell jumped into her car, also...and rammed into the other car several times. The crash damaged the wood railings at the park and both cars.

Bell left the crime scene, but police later found her at home where she was arrested and charged with two counts of malicious wounding, hit and run and destruction of property.

And she looks like such an innocent.  Stafford guy...Never get between an arguing couple.

So what do you do when you get hungry in the early morning. Last Wednesday, Vinod Adhikary broke into a room at the Old Town Inn in Manassas, Virginia to order room service.

Around 2 a.m., hotel staff received a room service order from Adhikary.

Staff soon realized the order came from a vacant room and called police.

When police arrived at the Inn, Adhikary was still waiting for his room service order.

Adhikary, 30, was charged with unlawful entry and public intoxication.

An Oakland Park, Florida man went into a Publix grocery store on June 2 and stuffed his pants with $53 worth of meat and left the store.

Broward Co. Sherriff's Office
An employee saw Richard Homer Smith, 56, hiding three packages of meat in his pants. The employee told the manager and followed Smith outside when he didn't pay.

Smith ignored Patrick, put the car in reverse, struck Patrick, knocked him to the ground and ran over his left foot.

Smith was driving away and then stopped. He took the license plate off the car and threw it to the ground and then drove away (excellent move, Smith)

Police found the license and tracked Smith down. He was arrested on Thursday and charged with petit theft, failing to stop and remain at an accident involving injury and improper backing. He remains in jail under a $3,500 bond.
