Man Posts Sex Ad on Internet Using Ex-Wife's Name

When a relationship is over, most people go their separate ways and make a new life for themselves.  However, some people have a hard time letting go of the relationship. They get angry and vindictive when the partner moves on.

In 2011, Amy Kretizer began receiving telephone calls asking about sex toys and sex acts. Some of the callers made threats against her and her family.  Several men even drove by her house while children were playing outside and shouted vulgar comments.

Recently, Kretizer learned there was an ad on the internet when a woman called asking about sex products.  She told Kretizer to google her name which she did immediately.  Kretizer says her unlisted cell phone number, her address and a map showing how to get to her home were posted with the ad. Kretizer and her husband contacted police immediately.

Michael DeMatteo of New Castle, Pennsylvania is Kretizer's ex-husband and police say he placed the ad on Superpages.com. The Shenango Township Police Department traced the IP address to E.R. Advanced Ceramics in East Palestine where DeMatteo works.

Michael DeMatteo, 39, is charged with unlawful use of a computer, criminal use of communication facility, harassment, stalking and disorderly conduct. DeMatteo was arrested and his bond set at $5000.

Amy and Doug Kretizer say they hope this will end the years of harassment by DeMatteo.

DeMatteo is just another dumb criminal who believed he could post false information on the internet and remain anonymous.
