Joshua Garlathy was promised a bogus role in a fake Jennifer Aniston movie. Although he couldn't get money for child support, he quickly got money for airfare to Philadelphia.
Fortunately, because of a new law making it a crime to move out of state to avoid paying child support, Garlathy was immediately arrested after his flight landed.
Garlathy pleaded guilty to willful failure to pay child support. He is ordered to pay over $32,000 in back child support. He was also sentenced to 90 days probation.
Now that he has been arrested, Garlathy says he hopes to rebuild his relationship with his daughter. So the aspiring actor now wants to be an aspiring father. Seriously? Dead beat dads are on my list of most hated criminals.

In another story from Pennsylvania, Benjamin Sickles, 21, apparently had a serious case of the munchies.
Around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, he broke three glass windows and a glass door at a Subway restaurant in Pittsburgh. He attempted to open the cash register but failed so he threw cups at the register.
After failing to get cash, Sickles stole nine bags of potato chips. However, cops had no problem finding him.
He left a trail of potato chip bags which led police to Sickles sitting on the steps of Washington High School where he graduated in 2009.
When police found Sickles, he had a bloody hand and foot.
Sickles is in the Washington County jail where his bail is $30,000.
