Two drunk Pennsylvania men, Joshua M. Dunbar, 22, and Darren M. Dunbar, 43, set the garage on fire, but they didn't do either. Instead, they got into a fight.
Around 2 a.m. Monday, Darren and Joshua were in the garage changing a battery on SUV when, apparently, a spark from the battery ignited fuel.
With the garage on fire, Darren and Joshua begin to complain about all they lost and who started the fire. Darren was standing in the street when Joshua walked up to him and punched him, knocked him to the ground and continued to punch him. And that's how the fire and the fight started.
Sgt. Joseph Bush of the Whitehall Township police separated the father and son. Joshua wasn't finished...he resisted, pushed Sgt. Bush to the ground and punched him. Patrolman Jeffrey Apgar ordered Darren to the ground, but he resisted and hit Patrolman Apgar in the legs several times.
Both the drunk men were cuffed and taken to jail. Each is charged with one count of aggravated assault, pubic drunkenness, disorderly conduct...plus, each with two counts of resisting arrest, simple assault and harassment.
It's unclear who called police/fire department, but because of the delay, fire crews were at the home for over five hours. The acorn really doesn't fall far from the tree.
A West Virginia newly married couple drove their Pontiac Grand Prix to a Sonic in Bunker Hill, W.V. At some point, they got into a heated argument and police from Susquehanna Township were called around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
When police arrived, Donald Sullivan, 40, and his wife were parked in the Pontiac Grand Prix a couple of blocks away. According to police, he was arguing with his wife in a loud, abusive tone. Police found two open bottles of Vodka in the car.
A search of Sullivan's person yielded marijuana and a pipe. Donald Sullivan was charged with public drunkenness, having open containers of alcohol, possession of small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sullivan was released on bail; if his wife is smart, she left town in the Pontiac Grand Prix!
A 21 year-old woman smoked "super-strength cannabis" (could it have been bath salts) and then climbed a 40 ft. electricity pylon because she thought it was a bridge.
She was spotted by people on the street and authorities in Zin, Czech Republic were called. The police and drug counselors tried to get her to come down, but she wasn't making much sense. She told them she was sure that the pylon was a bridge across the Morava river.
After two hours, drug counselors and police were able to persuade her to come down. Fortunately for her, she was not hurt. However, her last high could have been high voltage!
