Abusive Ex-Boyfriend Posts Revenge Craigslist Ads

Andre Flom, 31, from Portland, Oregon is a man scorned.  He was dumped by his pregnant girlfriend for domestic abuse.  After he was convicted and received probation for the misdemeanor charge of strangling his pregnant girlfriend, he sought revenge.

He posted 37 Craigslist ads posing as his ex-girlfriend.  Flom posted her name, telephone number and address in ads seeking sexual encounters.  The victim says after one of the ads was posted, approximately 15 men showed up at her home asking for sex.  Her 2 year-old child (not Flom's) was at the home when the men showed up. Some ads posted instructed people to come to the victim's homes and dig up trees and take a playground structure.

He also posted ads pretending to be the victim with her mother's address and telephone number.  The mother says she can get up to 100 text messages on her phone and it was full in five minutes with obscene messages.

Police tracked the IP address of the computer placing the ads to Flom's neighbor's house.  The neighbor told police his wireless internet was not password protected.

The victim contacted police in November when the men first began showing up at her door.  However, it took months for police to trace the "digital footprints" of the posts.

Well, at least, now Flom gets what he deserves...some real jail time.  He is in the Multnomah County Iverness Jail under a $30,000 bond.

Never use wireless internet without password protecting it...or the cops may show up at your house next.

Peace
