We can ask Michael Fuller of Lexington , NC . In November 2011, Michael tried to pay for his $476 Wal-Mart purchase with a $1,000,000 bill. He apparently planned on getting $999,524 (really, Michael?).
When questioned by employees, he insisted the bill was legitimate and that's when employees contacted the police. Of course, Fuller was still waiting with his bogus bill when authorities arrived and he was promptly arrested.
Authorities charged Michael Fuller, 53, with two felonies: attempting to obtain property by false pretenses and uttering a forged instrument. He was in jail under a $17,500 bond.
Michael, Michael, Michael...there is no such thing as a legitimate $1 million bill...the largest bill in circulation is $100.
Where did he get that idea? Did he print this bill himself? Maybe he purchased the bill online at www.millionbill.com :
You can get a sample $1 million dollar bill for free and 10 million-dollar bills for $7.00. He probably thought is sounded like a good deal.
Peace
